Joon Choi, MD
Joon Choi, MD, FACOG, leads SoCal OB/GYN, with locations in Glendale and Panorama City, California, as a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. There, Dr. Choi serves his patients with compassion, dignity, and as individuals. He is bilingual in English and Korean, making it possible for him to care for a diverse range of patients.
Dr. Choi earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio, now a part of the University of Toledo. He went on to complete his internship and residency at North Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan. Today, Dr. Choi is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Choi has affiliations with the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, and Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale, California.
Dr. Choi treats his patients with state-of-the-art techniques and comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as aesthetics. Nicole Shin, NP
Nicole is a dedicated nurse practitioner with a specialized focus in aesthetic dermatology, driven by a lifelong passion for skincare. Her interest was sparked early on by a family history of melanoma, which instilled in her the importance of sun protection and skin health. This early awareness evolved into a deep curiosity about the skin’s physiology, eventually leading her to work as a skincare consultant at Sephora, where she gained hands-on experience with a wide range of products and diverse skin types.
Her clinical journey began as a medical assistant in a dermatology clinic, where she was immersed in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of skin conditions. Nicole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and later earned her Master’s degree to become a nurse practitioner, combining her scientific knowledge with compassionate patient care.
Nicole has trained with respected aesthetic dermatology practices and is experienced in performing laser hair and tattoo removal, intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, radiofrequency devices, microneedling, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for hair and skin rejuvenation, Botox, and dermal fillers. She is committed to delivering personalized, result-driven treatment plans, tailoring each approach to the unique needs and goals of her patients.
